History

It all started in 1967! Widow Van den Brouwer, an aunt of mother, had passed away. As she didn't have any other descendants than her brother, sister, nephews and nieces, her relatives inherited everything. Father and two uncles used that inheritance to buy a piece of woodland of 4 ha situated south of De Boevenheuvel on the border between Eersel and Riethoven.

Our dad already had sketchy plans to start a camp site. He had a nice piece of woodland on Den Zwarten Horst in Luyksgestel where he could start his camp site. I remember we visited this place a couple of times but the exact location disappeared in the coarse of time.​​​​​​
